A Kid

  1. when an artist puts his byline across a piece of art in a naked attempt to exhibit his ownership, the beauty of the piece gets defaced to that extent. not only that, it acts as a distraction to the viewer. and i have noticed this in many paintings
and i can understand you are simply following the practice.

but can't you mark your 'credit' on the vertical left or right where it can be least conspicuous and yet you can claim its proud workmanship-ownership?

    Dear Neeravbhai,
Byline is not for exhibiting ownership, but for protecting it from the commercial use by the others, it has taken place two times with my pictures, so I put byline on important place of the picture. Thanks for giving me the chance to explain this.
